Corrective Exercise
We’re Very Good at It!
Our first priority, in ANY training program, is creating pain-free and balanced mobility. We then use this solid foundation to build your fitness, one level at a time. We are excellent at corrective exercise. In fact, our intense focus on corrective exercise is one of the primary reasons we hire less than 1% of candidates that apply to be a Mobile Trainer. Our trainers typically have a background in kinesiology, physical therapy, or draw on a wealth of experience from a tenured training career. As a group of professionals, we put our greatest emphasis on corrective exercise and measurable results.
Not only are we good at it, but we’re passionate about corrective exercise and continually educate ourselves on the latest best practices available.
What We Do
Whether you have had chronic aches and pains, or recently completed physical therapy, we will bridge the gap for you . Your Mobile Trainer will hyper focus on proper kinetic chain movement, muscle symmetry, muscle activation, and total body balance.
This process often involves stimulating muscle fibers that have atrophied, making them the culprit for muscular imbalance and improper movement. Muscular balance removes unwanted pressure on your skeletal framework, joints, and nervous system. Once achieved, proper muscular balance slows down wear and tear on your body, including cartilage and the osteoporosis cycle.
We also integrate a device called a Theragun into our corrective exercise process. The Theragun helps us release tension and increase muscular mobility, through percussive massage therapy. This step often precedes the muscular stimulation and activation phase, and it also feels great!
The Objective
Simply put, our job is to help you FEEL better in addition to reaching your other fitness goals. Corrective exercise can remove the obstacles you’ve been facing and can significantly improve the experience of working out, as well as your overall daily health.
Not only is our goal to help you achieve muscular balance and a larger range of motion, we want to teach you how to keep it that way. We will provide you with ongoing exercises and continue to teach you about proper body positioning.
The long-term objective is to:
- Increased Muscular Balance
- Greater mental awareness of proper movement and technique
- Increased Range of Motion
- Reduced/diminished pain
